Thermodynamic.
A collection of paintings featured at
The Other Art Fair, Melbourne, 2019
As the name suggests, these paintings evolve out of ideas of heat and energy.  The scorching palette paired with simple graphic lines propel the viewer forward through passages and planes. These linear blocks radiate energy while remaining static.
Oblique segments float above the surface with entropic intent, changing from order to chaos. The egg is used as a symbol of life and a metaphor for fragility and humanity. This is also a form changing object, morphing from liquid to solid, surface to segment.
