Artificial Intelligence
Nine new paintings.
Neon Parlour, Melbourne.
TBD due to COVID-19

This exhibition is an exploration into the internet as a portal for which our private data is constantly collected and exploited. Our identity is fabricated or embellished and a surreal relationship between our digital and physical lives intersect with the internet of things.

An amorphous organism is rendered as a visual metaphor for computer learning. Through Siri or Alexa we constantly feed and teach these beings in our own homes and pockets. These paintings see the organism feeding, balancing and replicating on a visual language of digital geometric forms and pattern. The viewer is transported to a world of alien communication and hierarchy as the A.I gains more power and knowledge.
