Breadhead Cafe

The extraordinary bakers at Breadhead commissioned me to create a mural for the interior of their new café at the Tauranga Art Gallery. The colour palette was developed in response to Breadhead’s new brand identity, created by Jade Young Studio. For the shapes, I wanted something playful and joyous—forms inspired by the pillowy goodness of their breads and pastries, layered with a hint of cartoonish, Scooby-Doo–style Mystery Machine retro energy.
